Butterflies & Blessings
On a recent morning I was in the back yard with my camera looking for things to photograph. A beautiful golden Monarch Butterfly landed on a bush not more than three feet from me, spread its wings, and proudly displayed its magnificence.

An Issue of Time
Time’s an intriguing phenomenon. Humans measure time in seconds (nano, micro, milli), minutes, hours, days, weeks, fortnights, months, years, decades, centuries, and millennia. An Act of Worship
In the book The Artist's Way,Julia Cameron makes a statement that rocked my spiritual boat—“If we learn to think of receiving God's good as being an act of worship—cooperating with God's plan to manifest goodness in our lives—we begin to let go of having to sabotage ourselves.” This statement started a process of opening my eyes to God's bounty flowing into my life.

Lesson from a Bird
One morning I was at a friend's house enjoying some conversation.
Suddenly she exclaimed, "There's a bird on the back porch!”
We watched the bird fly back and forth trying to find its way out of the screened-in area. After several minutes she picked up a newspaper and headed through the door to the porch.
