Positive Affirmations
From I Corinthians 13
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. I Cor. 13:1-3
* I am patient.
* I am kind.
* I do not envy.
* I do not boast.
* I am not proud.
* I am not rude.
* I am not self-seeking.
* I am not easily angered.
* I keep no record of wrongs.
* I do not delight in evil.
* I rejoice with the truth.
* I always protect.
* I always trust.
* I always hope.
* I always persevere.
If I fail I go to I John 1:9.
From The Search for Significance by Robert S. McGee
This beautiful affirmation comes from the book The Search for Significance by Robert S. McGee page 61. I highly recommend you obtain a copy of this book and study it for your own realization of your position in Christ.
"Memorize this statement:
I have great worth apart from my performance because Christ gave his life for me, and therefore, imparted great value to me. I am deeply loved, fully pleasing, totally forgiven, accepted, and complete in Christ. Repeat this statement to yourself several times each day for two or three weeks."
"Each day, tell those in your family whom you know are Christians, ""You are deeply loved, fully pleasing, totally forgiven, accepted, and complete in Christ.""
Even though you are a Christian, you may feel you cannot say this affirmation. If you are a performer like I have been, it will be difficult to believe and accept. I can assure you, because it is true, if you will repeat the statement to yourself several times each day for two or three weeks, the Holy Spirit will help you accept it for yourself. God is truth and God is love. If you have not made a decision to receive Jesus Christ as your savior, click on the link The Truth for some tremendously good news.
